Plate: PowerDyne Revenge Aluminum
Wheels: Radar blue Zodiac wheels 93A
Bearings: KwiK Swiss Nitride bearings
Toe stops: Riedell black round stoppers

The 1065 boot comes in a 'combo' fit- D/B which means a wider D width for the ball of your foot with a narrower B heel for a better fit for women.

These boots have a hard toe box and as such, require the snugness to be in the ball of the foot as opposed to a soft toed boot. A hard toe box is good for those skaters that are hard on the toes of their boots and need extra room and extra protection for their toes.

See the video below from Riedell for more info on the 1065 boot.

Please don't assume that if you wear a size in one brand that the sizing will be the same in another brand as they do differ. In fact, sizing differs between brands with different skates. Please check the size charts.

The 1065 boot has heat moldable reinforcements. Follow the instructions below to heat mold your boots:
Depending on how you want your boots to fit, there are two options for heat molding the counters and toe area.
Option 1 Heat Gun or Hair Dryer.
(Hairdryer will take more time to heat mold material).
This option is for the individual problem areas (toes, arch, outer foot), and lets you mold one section at a time. Keep the gun/dryer at approx 6-8 inches away from boot, moving in a circular pattern. This should take about 3 min. with the heat gun (6 to 7 min. with hairdryer). Once the material is pliable, use your hands to push out the problem spot, and hold until cool. This process can be repeated as many times as needed.
Option 2 - Oven.
This Option allows you to mold all three spots at once. Mold one boot at a time.
Pre-heat oven to lowest setting (79-93 degrees Celcius depending on type of oven, DO NOT EXCEED 93 DEGREES OR TIME IN OVEN). Remove sock liner/foot bed, laces, toe stops, wheels and bearings (cushions can be left on). Place boot/skate in oven, on rack or cookie sheet for 3 minutes. Remove boot (careful, boot will be HOT). Insert sock liner/foot bed, place foot in boot and lace up (be sure to wear the socks you tend to skate in the most). Stand up in boots and wait until cool. If you have a specific hot spot, use your hands to push the spot out or in for the desired fit. This process can be repeated as many times as needed.
