Heat molding instructions:
Depending on how you want your boots to fit, there are a few options for heat molding the counters and toe area.
Option 1: hair dryer or heat gun
This option is for the individual problem areas (toes, arch, outer foot), and lets you mold one section at a time. Keep the gun/dryer at approx 6-8 inches away from boot, moving in a circular pattern. This should take about 3 min with the heat gun (6 to 7 min with hairdryer). Once the material is pliable, use your hands to push out the problem spot, and hold until cool. This process can be repeated as many times as needed. Note:Hairdryer will take more time to heat molding material.
Option 2: Oven
This option allows you to mold all three spots at once. Mold one boot at a time. Pre-heat oven to lowest setting (79-93 degrees depending on type of oven, DO NOT EXCEED 93 DEGREES OR TIME IN OVEN). Remove sock liner/foot bed, laces, toe stops, wheels and bearings (cushions can be left on). Place boot/skate in oven, on rack or cookie sheet for 3 minutes. Remove boot (Careful, boot will be HOT). Insert sock liner/foot bed, place foot in boot and lace up (be sure to wear the socks you tend to skate in the most). Stand up in boots and wait until cool. If you have a specific hot spot, use your hands to push the spot out or in for the desired fit. This process can be repeated as many times as needed.
